grusum9, Buy the way this Super committee is more than just a study committee.

yes, it's unconstitutional and should be dissolved. it was invoked to lessen the power of the newly elected majority in the house. it concentrates power where it's meant to be dispersed.

Do you even have any idea what the outcome will be if they do not come to an agreement.

do you even have any idea what the outcome will be if they do come to an agreement?

Please explain what you believe will be the consequences if there is no agreement, that is if you know what will happen to the military and social programs to the US population and States!!!

that's easy enough. our currency will be destroyed faster. soon you won't be able to buy enough with your dollars to buy what you need.

You do have some understanding of what will happen to the military, social programs and the States. Most States have approximately 2/3's of their revenue from the Federal Government, and/or dedicated money which the State Legislatures have no control, i.e. Missouri with it's balanced budget amendment.

If the Super Committee can not reach agreement then they are forced to make drastic cuts in both social programs and the military equally. The Secretary of Defense say's it will be disastrous for our military. And, just think the impact on our States and social programs for the less affluent.

Fortunately, I am not among the less affluent nor the 1% but have enough finances to survive. But, I guess pray, guns and butter is enough to survive for some as our population, and unskilled workers increase.

Seems to me that OBama and the Democrat's outsmarted the Republicans again with the Super Committee. Guess the Publican's will have to have a revenue increase in the Super Committee's proposal to resolve the differences and put the economy on the right track.
