They did it with the iPhone 4 with the Verizon rollout and got left with alot of initial inventory. They went too strong for that launch and not strong enough for the 4S launch. Been updating iOS 5.01 today, I certainly don't notice any performace problems before, during or after the upgrade on the iPhone 4. Seems to me that a bunch of Droid fans are writing in bogus reviews for the iPhone.
