His last contract was for $35M/y.

Stern cleared very close to a billion dollars off his 5 year contract with Sirius, considering the stock he received which he promptly dumped at the highest price the stock ever saw. But AFAIK, the contract renewal terms were never disclosed. He would have had to have taken a very huge pay cut.
