You realize the only thing that makes her a 'celebrity,' and thus someone they'd invite, is her porn work. They invited her and she showed up as 'Sascha Grey,' her porn name not her real name. Thus they didn't invite someone who did some things wrong long ago and has put it behind them and wants to put it behind them, they invited someone still using their fake porn name and still capitalizing on her porn career and using it to promote herself as a 'serious' actress.
