"are mke's production facilities in se asia or japan?" Hi Tom, a good question. MKE is a multinational based in Japan. My understanding from reading this thread for the past half year that MKE manufactured for QNTM in a highly automated factory in Japan. This could be a wrong impression on my part. Does anyone know for sure? However having said that, I would not attatch too much importance to the labour rate for manufacturing and testing, as I suspect that it does not ammount percentually to too much. More important is the value of the key components and the currency they are paid for in. I suspect the semis are mainly japanese and the motor is of US origin. Anyone got any facts about this?? Alan
