AVNT. Great Questions! I hope someone can help out. I'll give you my opinions/understanding. Don't know if the judge can waive the bond. I think that AVNT might not have to put up the entire bond (I think companys can purchase bond insurance that allows them some flexibilty, however I'm pretty sure that whatever the bond is, AVNT will have to create a restricted cash account on thier balance sheet and won't be able to use the cash until all the appeals are resoved). AVNT has trivial debt according to last quarters balance sheet. TMAI had over $30mm cash last time I looked at the balance sheet, no debt that I know of (I'll have to check EDGAR again). Could AVNT be losing sales? That's the big question I'm trying to get answered before I go short the stock. To date, I have yet to find anyone who has/or admits to scrapping Aquarius in favor of CDN-CellEnsemble. I even talked w/ some UDS(Uniform Design Service) engineers from MOT at the IC-CAD conference at the San Jose Doubletree Hotel last week. They told me that although CDN made that big announcement a couple of months ago, nothing has changed, and that MOT has actually purchased additional AVNT Aquarius place and route seats since the announcement.
