Not looking for Money from Smith. We will be moving forward with the permitting phase of the project when the time is right. There are a few concrete/stone companies down the coast that are potential partners that have the funding to start a venture like that. I know that he raised some cash from shareholders, I would like to speak to those that gave him cash for that deal so we can try to make them whole again. I know we probably should have just walked away but that is not the right thing to do.
I spoke to the bankruptcy trustee in Michigan after your note on here, you are correct Digital gas is indeed in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. The trustee has closed the file so we are not sure what to do next.
I personally think Smith saw the potential of the quarry, I think the problem is he could never raise the funds to get it to the stage where it needs to be to sell. Smith always seemed to have too many balls in the air and could not concentrate on one deal.
I am not here to bash him, he did have his faults, we all do in my opinion.
