During it I repeatedly asked for an explanation, a rationale, for a number of assertions you made. If you had used a rational, analytical process to come up with any of what you asserted, you would have have eventually demonstrated it by coughing up at least one rationale.

That isn't true. For example, I pointed out that simple reason tells you that there's no way to see inside the body before surgery without some sort of imaging system. No rigorous analysis is needed to realize that. You simply stubbornly refused to consider any viewpoint other than the gut bias you brought to the issue.

I have no animosity towards you. I find you an interesting source. Neither probing for input nor making arguments to counter your positions implies animosity. It's an intellectual endeavor, neither a quarrel nor a contest.

That may be what you think.

(That's how I went from being a socialist to a libertarian and capitalist, via half a lifetime of studying and considering what can be workable and robust in the real world.) The distinction is whether you started with a clean sheet of paper or not.

No one starts with a clean sheet of paper. FWIW its worth, in my youth I was skeptical of religion and liberal in many or most of my opinions. I was educated and programmed to be so.

I, for example, never got the faith gene, either that or I beat the viability out of it at a very early age. And I don't have much confidence in my gut. I never developed it.

I suspect you're mistaken about yourself, but there's no point in arguing it.
