It's despicable that sexual abuse occurred and that people in authority allowed it to continue.
Is Jesus going to forgive Sandusky ? I don't believe he's repented, so no. Even if he did, that wouldn't clear him legally.

Since you want to be nasty, let me ask you whether you think Sandusky needs forgiveness, and if so, why?
How do we know Sandusky wasn't 'born that way?' An inclination to have sex with boys might be inborn, like the desire to have sex with adults of the same sex is said to be. Certainly, no one would choose to be either a 'boylover' or a homosexual given society's vicious view of such people, right? So it must be inborn and not a matter of choice.
And haven't there been cultures, like that of the ancient Greeks, which viewed sexual activity between older men and boys acceptable? If ancient Greek culture was morally superior to western Christianity, maybe their view of child sex was better than ours too? |
