It looks like the Dems will not agree and automatic cuts will kick in. That should be good since it will cut a significant amount on Defence spending. My only apprehension is that in the face of the Committee's failure, America;s credit rating will go through a downgrade by the other two agencies for the simple reason of "political instability".
