Here I always thought Newt was way smarter than Franklin Raines who bilked fannie mae out of tens of millions. Guess Newt isn't based on how little he got from fannie mae. Is there a published list of who got what from fannie abd freddie? It sure would make interesting reading.
Though I think Newt may have gotten his legally. Why isn't Franklin Raines in prison????.
