Jim - Re: "Does Cyrix have rights to Slot 1?"

Now, after Cyrix spent all that time telling everybody that Slot 1 is not needed! How impudent!

Don't forget - If Cyrix has the rights to Slot 1, Intel has all the rights to the MediaGX, MediaMX, etc.

That road goes both ways!

By the way - the Patent Cross license allows NSM/Cyrix to use Intel's patent portfolio. Intel was careful not to patent certain features of the Slot 1 interface, choosing instead to categorize these "features" as trade secrets - and therefore not subject to patent cross licensing nor public disclosure.
