I played the earliest Zorks that were originally designed for the Teletype interface, so they were all text based. I thought they were fun in a kind of wierd abstract way. Interactive story puzzles. Not exactly like chess, more like a Perry Mason novel. But now with the VR type of games, it's a whole new type of experience. These games today tend more often toward reaction than to thought, kill or be killed - a rather dreary look into the future if these are to be the prized skills. Though maybe that's what makes good football players. Uhoh, I can see where this thought is leading - don't let get me started on OJ.
