Unbelievable. This isn't about revenge against the bankers. This is about a country with laws and making sure all citizenry abide by the laws and none are above the law. We are a country of laws. Countries who give some privileged group a pass on the law are known as Dictatorships or Oligarchies or in the case of the USA, Kleptocracies. It takes 2-3 years to take a case from inception to trial. Most bank cases are hitting the courts now. The SEC is a different story. I imagine the Obama administration is having to upgrade the agency after it was downgraded during the Bush years.........see Madoff. Turning over a federal agency takes time. I am not sure what else you want Obama to do......walk on water?
