Harding, Coolidge, Hoover? Macarthyism? NIxon? Bush's? Lee Atwater's cynical southern strategy. The Neo cons? Raygun's union busting? John Birch Society? Hunt Brothers, Andrew Mellon and the vast right wing consipiracy?

And before that when the parties were reversed it was TR taking on the conservatives and industrial Robber Barrons at the turn of the last century.
