Managemen has changed. The deals with others were necessary to savehe co from e past disaster. A co must make choices. While I also have regrets when I see IDECs stock price or read ther annual report that is hindsight. They made difficult decisions and choose the BPI platform approach. They will earn more than pennies on the Genentech deal and it will go straight to the bottom line.

When I read Connetics info I hope their T-Cell approach purchased from Xoma works but there are many others doing the same thing.

Sometimes we ask XOMA do a deal now and at other times we correctly say don't give anything away.

Very happy with the management team. They understand how to run a business and keep shareholders informed. While I made a point about Dr. Giroir his contribution was not discovering BPI but suggesting and convicing the co to use it for Meningococcemia. This is far different than what you have ust stated. Please see this as a sign of strength for XOMA. There are thousands of cos that would not have listened and done what they wanted. I see the relationship with the researchers as an incredible piece of good fortune and Xoma shares the limelight with them. Take a look at the 95 report. I don't see this bonding other repots from other cos. It is long term important to the success of XOMA IMO.
