That's what the Shivers games are like.

The Zork demo I have appears to be that type of game, but it's very limited in it's scope.
Are you saying that it's (Zork) a kill or be killed game now, or was that commentary directed at the trend in todays gaming like Doom or Quake?

My kids have a friend that comes over who drags along her little brother. He's a bit younger than the rest of the gang and a real strange kid. Comes from an alcholic abusive household and has his share of problems.
He scares the bejesus outta me. When they first got Doom and were playing it a lot, The other kids usually opt for the Big Guns and lots of bang-bang splat-splat stuff.
THIS kid ALWAYS uses the knife and REALLY gets into stabbing the enemys. Creepy.

He's one of those REAL QUIET kids. <G>
