May be you would like to try the following:-
1. Place cursor in location window and click once so it turns blue (i.e., highlighted);
2. Press the Ctrl key and while holding it down, press C. (This is a substitute for clicking Edit and then clicking Copy);
3. Bring up the document, say, email or SI response window, you wish to copy the URL to. Mark with cursor the spot where you wish the URL to appear;
4. Press the Ctrl key and while holding it down, press V. (This is a substitute for clicking Edit and then clicking Paste);
That's it. The URL is now copied. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Likewise, the above procedure may be used to send an "attachment" together with an email. In this case, after doing (Ctrl + A) on the URL window (it turns blue)and then (Ctrl + C), click on the attachment (paperclip) icon, then specify whether you are sending off text or a web page, then click once in the attachment location window. Then do Ctrl V to copy the URL to this location window, and click OK. And of course you know the next step. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Similarly, to copy a document or text, do (Ctrl + A) to highlight entire text, then (Ctrl + C) and then after marking the spot where you want copying to begin, do (Ctrl + V). The disadvantage of this method is that unwanted text will be highlighted and copied. No problem: you can delete the unwanted text by first highlighting it by clicking your cursor on it and while keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the mouse up or down, as the case may be, until the unwanted text is completely highlighted. Then press the Delete key and presto, the unwanted stuff is gone! Then do some editing/adjustments etc. as you please.
