I expect something like happened in the post WW11 era till the late 1980's to repeat itself in most areas that are very beaten down now and have a future of income and or population growth. Not saying it will happen everywhere as right now some places are still quite expensive. In the late 1940's that was not the case.. Also not sure if today many properties are as far below replacement cost as they were then but the numbers on every angle sure make more sense to me than at anytime since before the inflationary 1970's cycle took off which is 40 years ago
