re Bridgestone 5108.T I watch out for many stocks but i buy only those that are a good value. Earnings for Bridgestone are projected at 145Yen/share while the stock is trading at 1700Yen, that's a 12x PE. Virtually any valuation metric (PE, EV, EBITDA, revenue growth) looks worse than Michelin, plus they have a higher debt gearing (0.55x debt/capital versus 0.2x for ML.PA).

In order to justify the higher valuation, they should show better metrics compared to Ml.PA but they don't. I don't see the value owning Bridgestone but I would be interested what you see in this stock that I don't.
