Jim, I'm completely pissed at congressional Republicans who want to try and block automatic cuts to the military should the supercommittee fail to reach a consensus. Defense is almost one quarter of the federal budget. Obviously they should be affected by budgetary concerns, but Republicans betray their base platform of less government and fiscal responsibility if they continue to pretend that Osama bin Laden is still alive.
