It is truly amazing we are even having to have this discussion. Of course it should be taught in school it is basic science.

Evolution is not a theory any more than the earth is round is a theory. Evolution is understood to the degree they can tell how far apart humans are genetically based on their DNA.

The science channel just had a great series called "mutant planet". The first two shows showed how evolution shaped the different animals of Japan and Madagascar.

But if someone cannot understand evolution, I guess they just cannot understand it. Evolution is like probability, some get it and some don't. Probably fruitless to debate them.
