I agree with what you say. I think we all know that Obama cannot order the police in or out as much as he can do or not do so with Syria or Egypt or Libya. He is very quick to reprimand the leaders of the world but I ask what is he doing when it happens in his own country of which he is the President. So you get it why America is hated even in Europe?

My expectations are not for Obama to join the sit-in. These students do not have a political agenda like the labor unions or the Tea Party has. So why is he so hesitant.

You posted a video which very clearly demonstrates how peaceful the protesters are. They let the Chancellor drive off in into the darkness. Nobody stopped her car nothing. (Mayor Bloomberg are you listening)

Where is the head of the UC system? Why are we not hearing from him or her? What about Governor Brown? What is he doing?

This country is a republic. That means the president's interference in what are considered local affairs is frowned upon. Its all about states' rights.

The chancellor should be forced to resign. She's lost the respect of the UC Davis student body and faculty. Where is the pressure from the governor and the head of the UC system? Where are the citizens of CA asking for her head? IMO they should be the catalyst for change......not Obama.
