The philosophy of the left is based on fact and reason. The philosophy of the right is based on myth and social script. There is a solution though and it is massive education. We should have free eduction from 2.5 years through a PHD. Only the richest kids should not be the only ones who can attend the best universities. In Denmark Religion is in a huge minority and education is free. That is true for most of the Scandinavian countries. People just need to be education and most will change their minds. As Eric Fromm said: when one is raised in a certain culture they learn to accept whatever that culture says is true.
