Drew, Even though I am LONG TERM bullish on AMAT, I took a 2pt profit today prior to the earnings announcement. I feel she will beat estimates by between 5-10%...just couldnt lose another nights sleep. Profits are locked in. Yes, I agree with your options strategy...just wish I knew how to trade options with more proficiency. Just out of curiosity, WHEN AMAT reports above estimates today, what semi companies should benefit the most from the news?...short term ofcourse. Just picked up some COMS (220shs) at 34 3/8ths....1998 estimates cut by everyone and their mother today..price didnt budge much so I climbed aboard. I bet if AMAT reports a good qtr, COMS should pop up a bit tomorrow. These damn Asian worries have gotten everyone spooked. AMAT should be a good future indicator on semi direction. Re: hurling some PSTA on BYDS....dont own anymore PSTA but looking to pick some up around 1 1/4. Boi
