Joe, Tell him to just do what they have done in the past. Re-price what they charge the private insurance companies. It is called cost shifting. The insurance companies can recover their cost increases by raising their rates. This kind of thing always happens when government get involved and screws up the free market.
This has been going on for years with Medicaid.

You are right!! But, this is why healthcare is continually going up in the higher digits and in some cases double digits, something we can not support in the future with the increase cost to the organizations, employee or medicaid enrollee with the Feds and States splitting the cost. Even using your approach Joe, someone is picking up the additional cost, either through increased premiums, deductibles, co-pays, or government. Some one is paying the cost in the system.

Regarding another subject. Many of you probably heard, a US 16 year old in Egypt threw a molotov cocktail from the roof of a building into the military or police of an riot. The kid was from Jefferson City, Missouri according to the local sheriff. Should he be prosecuted according to the laws of Egypt, or their military laws which may be Islamic or not? Be prosecuted as a terrorist, or what?
