Bill: There are two things regarding TLTK I'd like to discuss. 1) Looking back to the week TLTK started the current move (the week of October 16 '95) I see that the stock in it's move from the Friday 10/13/95 close of just 21/32 to this week's close of 4 13/16 has.... DayOfWeek #Ups #Downs #Unch AvgVol SumOfChanges -------- ----- ------ ----- -------- ------------ Monday 7 7 2 344,400 +0.8750 Tuesday 8 8 3 386,000 +1.125 Wednesday 9 7 3 379,300 +1.15625 Thursday 7 7 4 440,300 +0.03125 Friday 11 6 3 297,600 +0.96875 I see every day but Thursday each contributed about a point to the big move. Friday has the most advancing days although the lightest volume. TLTK has been up for the last seven consecutive Fridays. So I don't see what you meant that if TLTK follows "form" it should have backed off on 2/23/96. Were you speaking for small stocks like TLTK in general? 2) Do you have any idea how often a given share is traded? For example, today (Friday 2/23), 651,500 shares traded. How many different shares do you think that represents? You seem to be a day trader... how often do you buy and sell TLTK within a given day when the going is good? Basically I'm trying to figure out how many different shares have been bought for at least $3.00 a share. The volume in the last two weeks (since 2/12/96) totals 8,261,200 shares and the stock has not traded below $3.00 shares during this time. How many different shares do you think have traded? (I have no idea). John
