DocStone you are a hard taskmaster indeed. Working those engineers 7 days a week for 384 days a year. I assume you are calculating for a quarter for 280 engineers.

I'll just say that average billable hours should be about 1700 per FTE per year. ( In my business I count annual payroll costs as hourly rate x 2100 but you have to subtract out payroll tax costs, vacations, sick leave and holidays to get to productive hours).

So I get 280 X 425 = 119,000 man hours per quarter.
