end to globalization?
One certainly hopes not.
Globalization is way cool.
Americans LOVE globalization. At the low end, Walmart and the dollar stores. At the high end, my goodness, what is the limit? Wine, beer, cheese, textiles, automobiles, heavy machinery, electronic devices, gadgets, what have you?
Santa Claus flies around the world every day, loads up his sleigh with foreign made goods, and distributes them to good American boys and girls every day. Christmas every day. Christmas always comes early for us.
Haim, I tell you, it's not going to end, it's never going to end. Whether we are talking about Egyptians, Chinese, Mongols, Greeks, Romans, all we are really arguing about, ever, is price. And the price of anything and everything is always negotiable. |
