Our turkey dinner was fabulous! The men of the house did most of the cooking and used a turkey bag. We'd never used one until our DIL cooked a turkey using one a couple of yrs ago. The turkey always comes out so moist and delicious. I doubt we'll ever go back to cooking a turkey out of a bag. DIL made a cornbread/sausage stuffing that was also delicious. I made home made whole berry cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes in the tradition of my grandmother and mother, a fresh apple crisp and a pumpkin pie. DIL made the mashed potatoes using real butter and fresh cream. I think I packed in more calories yesterday eating that meal than I did all last week. ggg
