Same here. It's what I fear about Romney and like about Gingrich. I think it's why there is such a significant ABR (anybody but romney) sentiment.

the only candidate who can pull off a last minute meaningful third party push would be Ron Paul. I can see a situation where Romney puts himself out there as a punching bag for Obama and his candidacy augers in and we have to come up with a plan B.

It actually pisses me off that the candidates aren't more focused on Obama already.
