Stockman, Its very likely that you will see this sometime in the next 3 years. However, like the sub-$1000 pc and other fads, it will last for about 6 months. Like inexpensive TVs, radios, VCRs, walkman, CD players? When you buy your next 24X CD-ROM, don't get it for $89. Wait until the fad goes away and pay $400, like we used to. Joe
