It's my understanding on shorting. The best way is to;
Sell short at a give value. (Up tick on listed exhcange must occur.)
Once the stock goes into a downward value you put a buy to-- cover stop loss just above it. If the stock keeps declining you move you stop loss just above the new low. To save you profits, if stock start to rise again. If this is so shorty has an edge.
Never shorted at stock.
Thougt U must have a margin account
