This is quite an interesting development from briefing.com :

****************************************************************
"Westell Technologies Inc. (WSTL) 17 7/8 -11/16: Dain Bosworth cuts its rating to a
"neutral" from a "buy" on concerns that Texas Instruments (TXN) deal for Amati
Communications will challenge developer of telecommunications products because it leaves WSTL without ownership of the intellectual property behind the discrete multitone implementation of ADSL....."

****************************************************************

At one point, analysts thought Westell would partner with coms on ADSL. With its proposed marriage with amati, that thought was over. Now with Westell single again, there is again some potential there for coms.
