Actually there is not one answer as Apple uses multiple sources to achieve both the numbers they need and to keep price competitive. Lens Technology is NOT the only one making the iPhone glass and CRAPple DOES use Gorilla glass... gottabemobile.com iFixit says iPhone 4 has Gorilla Glass display mashable.com Apple is notoriously secretive about their products and processes, but Gorilla Glass indeed protects the iPhone’s retina display. The Corning site says, “Your favorite device may include Gorilla Glass, even if you don’t see it listed.”
