At last, a couple acts of “terrorism” the Left will be able to wholeheartedly condemn.
AN IRANIAN nuclear facility has been hit by a huge explosion, the second such blast in a month, prompting speculation that Tehran’s military and atomic sites are under attack.
Satellite imagery seen by The Times confirmed that a blast that rocked the city of Isfahan on Monday struck the uranium enrichment facility there, despite denials by Tehran.
The images clearly showed billowing smoke and destruction, negating Iranian claims yesterday that no such explosion had taken place. Israeli intelligence officials told The Times that there was “no doubt” that the blast struck the nuclear facilities at Isfahan and that it was “no accident”.
The explosion at Iran’s third-largest city came as satellite images emerged of the damage caused by one at a military base outside Tehran two weeks ago that killed about 30 members of the Revolutionary Guard, including General Hassan Moghaddam, the head of the Iranian missile defence program.
Iran claimed that the Tehran explosion occurred during testing on a new weapons system designed to strike at Israel. But several Israeli officials have confirmed that the blast was intentional and part of an effort to target Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
On Monday, Dan Meridor. the Israeli Intelligence Minister, said: “There are countries who impose economic sanctions and there are countries who act in other ways in dealing with the Iranian nuclear threat.”
I fucking love it. You magnificent Jew bastards. Ought to lay to rest all the usual wailing from people over here, far removed from the existential threat represented by a nuclear-armed Iran (or so they desperately tell themselves), about how there’s “just nothing we can do” about these vicious enemies of Western civilization. Now hit ‘em again–harder, if at all possible.
It’s just too bad our sorry excuse for a pResident hates Israel so much he’d never dream of issuing a strongly-worded statement in support of Israel’s extreme competence, valiance, and derring-do here. For myself, I’m damned proud to have allies such as these, and I hope Israelis in general realize that Ogabe represents America in none but the most legalistic, technical sense–which, unfortunately for all of us, is also the most dangerous one. To hell with him, to hell with Iran, and to hell with the puling helplessness in the face of the Muslim threat we’ve been force-fed for far too long.

Hand of God update! A summary:
The two explosions join a growing list of unusual and deadly events related to Iran’s secret weapons programs. In late June 2011, five Russian nuclear scientists who had been assisting Iran’s nuclear program died in a plane crash outside the northern Russian city of Petrozavodsk. In November 2010, Iranian nuclear scientist Majid Shahriari was killed in Tehran when a motorcyclist placed a bomb on the window of his car and sped away before it detonated. Another scientist, Fereydoun Abbasi, was wounded in an identical attack the same day. In August 2010, Reza Baruni, the mastermind of Iran’s top-secret military drone project, was killed when three explosions destroyed his house. The official version blamed a gas leak. The same day that Baruni died, three unmanned aerial vehicles launched from an unknown location smashed into the dome of Iran’s Bushehr nuclear reactor, killing five. Tehran later claimed this incident was part of a readiness test.
Not all the attacks have been kinetic. The Stuxnet computer virus wreaked havoc on Iranian uranium enrichment facilities, and a new “supervirus” called Duqu has spread throughout Iran’s military computer network.
No country has claimed responsibility for the attacks, though most credit (or blame) Israel. After the blast at Bidganeh, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said, “I don’t know the extent of the explosion, but it would be desirable if they multiplied.”
It sure would.
