*** SKY won't fall tomorrow and have to wait ***

AMAT beat the expectation by 3cents.
Made 49cents versus 46 expectation. Excluding 3 cents charge
the final number is 46 cents.

Record revenue, lot of order booking etc.
Over all it is great number.

Only caveat is that its exposure to

Japan (18%), Korea (7%), Rest of Asia (30%) bothers me as all those countries are in bad shape. AMAT's North American share is 29%
and Europe 16%. So majority of 55% (Japan, Korea, thailand, Malaiysia)
are in b ad shape and it has to be seen how the street will react based on forward looking basis. We will see 40 tomorrow and
DOW 8000 by tomorrow.

It seems sky won't fall this week and may have to wait.

All the best.
