I can't believe I lived in Colorado for 5 yrs and I never got a chance to visit that part of the state. Mind you, we were both working and living in a place where we didn't feel like we needed to leave much. I kick myself for not insisting that we at least visit the Grand Canyon, and to this day I've never been. It's on my bucket list! In fact all of the various canyon lands heading up hwy 17 out of Phoenix all the way to the Canadian border pulling a little trailer behind the SUV is how I want to see it. I really hope we get a chance to do that trip some day. I'm sure we will!
