Well, I, a confirmed non-cat person seem to have acquired a cat. Wednesday evening, I was at the house of my neighbor who had died that evening. I was helping the coroner and the animal control officer corral the two dogs. Up comes one of the three cats - a part Siamese female. Erika has been after me forever to get a cat. The house was going to be locked up for a number of days, and I could not see putting this sweet cat outside to fend for herself. The other two cats are more outside cats and will be ok. So we have a cat. Stella was oblivious to the fact that there was a cat in the house until tonight when we tried to introduce them. The cat is fine - she'd lived with a Great Dane. Stella is another matter. She's spent the evening trying to get into the library, where we have the cat. I'm sure eventually they will become friends, probably after Sella gets a snoutfull of claws once ir twice. Up to this point cats have been something for her to agitated about from afar.
