RE: *Somewhat OT* Iomega's charitable contributions
John,

I've never heard of this before, but I'm sure happy to hear of it now, because I've just become the director of a similar (albeit more modest) nonprofit, and I could very much use a similar donation. I'll send you email off-thread about this. In the meantime, if anyone else out there knows anything about Iomega's charitable giving practices of this sort, I'd appreciate hearing from you at carroll@rpi.edu.
Thanks. Sorry for the off-topic intrusion, but I couldn't pass up this opportunity. Begging is one of the key components of my job description. <g>
Happy trading, all. Another 52-week high. Ho-hum <g>.
Cheers, Tom (long IOM)
By the way, "eom" isn't the same as "OEM". Instead, it stands for "end of message". You tack it onto a quickie, one-liner post so that people don't have to bother looking at the whole thing. They can just read your header line and move on to the next message. Gottfried M. uses it all the time (thank you, GM). I know most of you know this already, but there are obviously some who still don't. Now they do. |
