The first problem I had was that the drive came with no instructions. JTS refers you to their website for instructions, but the latest instructions they have are for the 3 gig drive, I think. I wanted to know if they were the same as those for the 4.3 gig drive, which they were. They've got a little updating to do there.

Then, once I started installing it, it wasn't the drive itself that was problematic. I have one of the earlier pentium processors in a dell machine, and even their latest bios software won't allow my system to recognize a larger size drive. I understand that windows 95 won't allow for the use of a drive larger than 2 gigs, anyway. The I think I was have trouble running their partitioning software, but it wasn't the software itself that was a problem.

I dealt with tech support at dell, microsoft, and iomega within the same period. They were far better equipped to handle the calls, and much more systematic in their approach to solving problems.
