That is just the first planet found with the Kepler Telescope while its been operational , they have dozens of more candidates they think may fall into the habitable zone to check out . But takes a while as they had to wait for three passes which for this one was its 290 day orbit (closer) around a cooler sun . They'll get more accurate readings now to determine the mass of the body by measuring the slight pull on its sun to give an idea of its composition . One down out of literally trillions more to go ... it will finally sink in there's unlimited life out there in the Universe. (this one is 600 light years away , Voyager our litte probe hasn't even left our solar sysytem yet launched 1977)
