Emile, No body who knows we would agree that your first sentence
applies to me. In fact I took a lot of criticism for standing up against
a prosperity that was not part of God. But, I know alot of rich christians who love
God. They have money ...money doesn't have them.
I'm not really effected by what my stock portfolio does,
I helped start Compaq computer. Through the 10 years I was there. All the
compaq stock I had went up and down. Not a tear <g>. One day it
went down $250,000. I slept like a baby.
I was one of the Apsotles at Compaq that started the underground Christian
prayer and Bible studies. We had thousands of Christians at Compaq. That's why it
is a succesful company. There is no counting the pople saved in the halls and
parking lots. Those that had demons cast out at lunch. The blind see and
the deaf ear. And, those that didn't know God found a loving Father.
At lunch the power of God moved in the conferences rooms.
When you are about your Father's business you don't tend to cry
when your portfolio goes up or down. I don't think about finances
when the power of God is moving.

I now execute a covered call strategy that God has blessed quite well.
But, our family is more concerned about building a church in Mexico
city than a cadilac. In fact you can build 2 churches in Mexico
for what it would cost to buy one cadilac.
But, I would rather say that I have given millions to the gospel
than say I got millions with the gospel.
