Hello Don,
>>>>One example, CHIP-bb, formally LONE-bb, was hovering around 10 to 20 cents when it announced a reverse split (1 for 25!). Guess what, a few months later, the stock is now at 28 cents, even though CHIP stockholders only have 1 share for every 25 they had before.<<<<<
I was wondering what happened to them...guess I know now! Another stock that I was watching ENVR slid to about .21 and then did a 10:1 reverse split. Someone comment the other day that it had not done well since then, I'm not sure.
>>>>>I still don't know why this is legal, but these companies are scams, selling worthless stock to suckers so they can profit. Just one man's opinion.<<<<<
Don, for sure you're entitled to your opinion, but to say "these companies are scams" is not really a credible statement, do you think? I'm sure there are many companies that represent a good value after a reverse split and go on to do well....I just don't know of any right off, that's my ignorance more than anything, I just tend to avoid that scenario if possible.
See ya! (did you buy into SEXI the other day?) |
