If Apple hits the guidance they set out, I'll be pretty impressed. I don't think last quarter's run to $420 was justified off a $7 earnings number, but the next run to $420 should be justified on a $10 earnings number. I guess the question for Apple is how much of a sequential earnings decline they will have in the March quarter vs the January quarter. Will they go back from 30 million iPhones to 25 million iPhones for the quarter, or will they be able to show further progress into the global market. The December quarter is still a peak quarter for technology companies, so I would expect Apple to provide lower guidance for March than December. March could also be a low point for the iPad as people wait for the iPad 3 later in the quarter.
