No one could find it huh? =(
Was anyone able to find the mistake? Here is the answer from my email to IR. (Arianne's response is first, so you'll have to scroll down for the question). I was glad she responded so quickly. Alot of companies would probably not even acknowledge it. SHERRELL B, do you have any idea how much Ultrak is held by that fund or group? we could add it to our running total.... My biggest worry is that a company like Honeywell, Ameritech or someone like that attemps a hostile takeover of the company for less than $30 a share.... I really think that if one is patient this is a $50-60 stock after the year 2000. at the pace they are going sales could be around half a billion. the reason why I think they could be taken over is becasue they have no debt and a great set of products as well as international penetration. INTEL bought a company called Chips and Technologies for $17 a share but the stock was as high as 28 or so before that. (shareholders are suing but they are not going to win that one)... Hopefully ultrak begins to use that 40 million in credit and makes some more acqusitions that will add to the bottom line and be accretive to earnings...buying shares wouldnt be a bad idea still...they could entice some ofthese companies they buy out with stock too.
I hope everyone has a nice, restful weekend.
Thank you so much for letting us know. I told our CFO and he is having our printer resubmit the file to the SEC. It should be corrected shortly. From now on, I will check their site for errors. In the past, I have just reviewed the copies like the one I sent to you.
Have a good weekend.
Arianne

Good Morning,
I have been meaning to write you with some questions but haven't had the chance. (I will try to get some out to you this weekend). The only thing that I did want to bering to your attention was that when I was reading the 10-q document over the inernet on the edgar Online system it stated that assuming full dilution there would be 4,920,454 shares used incomputations (On the form that was mailed to us the number showscorrectly at 14,920,454) I don't know if this is a big thing or anything Arianne but in this day of stupid lawsuits I do not want to have anyone sue the company over a financial statement typo error. The primary dilution number and everything else look correct. It is the first section of numbers. |
