Was watching the TV show "Body of Proof" last night. The storyline involved a coal fired power plant. They had one scene where they showed the stacks spewing out black smoke. I've seen my fair share of coal fired power plants and I have yet to see black smoke pouring out of the stacks. Obviously water vapor and CO2 coming out of the stacks doesn't portray the right message so they had to bring in the colorist to make it look like smoke.
