Re: Chessboard Number the squares from 0 and it's easy to see the formula yields 2**63 which approximates $922 quadrillion. Indicentally, this is the size of the address space on Merced (in bytes, not dollars). Sales will certainly have a nonlinear component. After all, isn't that why we're here?
