if so, they would be building 10 rockets to each of america's one. as they are not doing that,

TJ, you have NO IDEA what China's govt is spending on military items.

We DO KNOW that they have built a series of tunnels:

ndtv.com

And China has admitted building those tunnels. So don't make such foolish claims when it's plainly obvious that the Chinese military has the ability to produce in secret and then hide their assets.

in the mean time, due to commodity tanking, china inflation may be moderating much more,

So is their economic production. Which means the West is buying less stuff and domestic consumption is not picking up the slack.

And since the RMB is pegged to the USD, and the USD is going up, I guess that means so is the Chinese currency. The point is that the RMBs value is contrived via political decisions on it's value relative to other currencies like the USD.

p.s. what is wrong with savings?

Nothing at all, within reason. Investment generating a return is better. Putting one's savings into an massively overvalued house/apt that generates no ROI and then loses 60-70% of it's value isn't a very smart way to do it either.

What would happen to you if you lost 60-70% of your savings? Would that impact your economic decisions on consumption?
