TO ALL, PC Mag rated the new Pentium Pro machines this month. MUEI not only did not win an Editors Choice, the vital key to all of their print advertising, their reliability has also been downgraded from Better Than Average to Average. I was wondering when PC Mag would catch up to the real world moans and groans I've been hearing about the number of MUEI lemons. Also, PC World has rated their service as Average. This is especially bad timing with Compaq and Toshiba entering the mail order business and HWP about to jump in. BTW, NEC was the Editors Choice in Pro machines, which plays to my warnings about this new push from the Japanese. BTW, why did the chip stocks go up after the worst B to B of this downcycle? I hate it when I miss a week. If you are out, you don't get to hear the convuluted logic that turns a disastrous number into something good. MB
